This week, the skateboarding subdivision unveiled a new project with Primitive Skate, which sees the Los Angeles-based board & apparel company reworking the classic new balance 574 grijs with premium materials and a smooth new color scheme.

New Balance’s new balance 990 beige has quickly become one of the most popular silhouettes in the Boston brand’s lineup, only having made its debut early last year. Since then, the newest entry in the 42-year-old 990 franchise has been a part of collaborations with New Balance’s biggest partners, as well as being featured on the feet of signature athletes like Kawhi Leonard.
